Overview
This role involves managing core accounting functions related to fixed assets within a global team. The accountant will collaborate across international teams to maintain accurate financial reporting and support audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with statutory compliance partners in APAC and EMEA to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Act as a primary liaison for external auditors, supporting the organization and management of audit activities during interim and year-end periods.
- Compile and provide documentation and sample materials as required by external audits, in line with internal Service Level Agreements.
- Present financial data to diverse stakeholders including finance leadership, business partners, auditors, and regional accounting teams.
- Identify and implement automation and process improvements to streamline workforce tasks.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certification such as ACA, ACCA or an equivalent.
- Minimum of four years’ experience in accounting or equivalent, or one year with an advanced degree in accounting, business, or finance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience handling fixed asset or inventory accounting.
- Proven experience collaborating with external audit teams.
- Proficient in data analytics, including SQL skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to working across functional and international teams.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and lead complex reporting projects.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and effective communication with senior management.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position in Ireland is between €86,000 and €88,500 annually, alongside a 15% bonus target, equity options, and various benefits.
