Accountant

Overview

M/s Unitech Structural Works is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage the accounts payable and receivable operations along with general accounting duties, tax compliance, and financial reporting to support organizational efficiency and adherence to statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle invoice processing, vendor payments, and conduct payment follow-ups.
• Manage customer invoicing and payment collection activities.
• Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations.
• Make daily accounting entries in ERP/Tally systems including sales, purchases, bank transactions, and journal entries.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate cash book records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and prepare relevant schedules.
• Support GST filing processes including GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, and reconciliation tasks.
• Calculate and deduct TDS and file quarterly TDS returns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and facilitate audit requirements.
• Prepare and submit management information system (MIS) reports, ageing reports, profit and loss statements, and variance analyses timely and accurately.
• Support internal and statutory audit processes ensuring data integrity and completeness.

Requirements

• Proficiency in updated versions of Tally and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and Income Tax laws.
• Attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accuracy.
• Good communication skills to interact effectively across departments and with external parties.

Salary and Compensation

The monthly salary ranges from 12,000 to 15,000 INR.
