Role Overview
The Residential Account Manager will be tasked with cultivating, overseeing, and expanding a customer portfolio within a defined territory. This role focuses on achieving sales targets by anticipating customer growth trends and providing exceptional customer service. Integral to this position is the development and implementation of strategic sales initiatives aimed at annual portfolio growth. The role also involves collaboration across departments to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture relationships with local property owners, management, operators, and service providers.
- Drive new business development by engaging with end users, including onsite staff and key decision-makers from management companies and ownership groups.
- Organize and conduct daily meetings with customers in the assigned portfolio.
- Accurately document customer interactions and sales opportunities using company CRM tools.
- Leverage the company's full suite of value propositions, sales tools, programs, and fulfillment options to provide optimal solutions.
- Participate in company training sessions, sales meetings, and industry events such as trade shows and conferences.
- Analyze market data to identify trends and devise effective sales strategies.
- Monitor the competitive landscape in assigned markets and communicate relevant insights to leadership and internal teams.
- Adhere to the company’s core behaviors to ensure high integrity and superior customer service.
- Apply a consultative and proactive selling approach, ensuring consistent follow-ups with assigned customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Between 1 to 2 years of experience in Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) sales or B2B sales environments.
- Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree or possess equivalent experience.
