About the Role
Join Google as an Account Executive specializing in Lead Generation within the Marketing and Media Solutions (MMS) division, based in Toronto, Canada. This role centers on leveraging Google’s advertising capabilities to support a diverse range of businesses in scaling their marketing efforts effectively. As a passionate sales professional, you will utilize your expertise in online media and client relationship management to drive outstanding results for both customers and Google.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture influential relationships with senior executives including C-level clients and key partners, gaining a thorough understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success indicators.
- Develop and lead clear, sustainable strategies that align Google’s offerings with client objectives, coordinating cross-functional internal teams to ensure these strategies are successfully executed.
- Strategically plan and achieve growth targets by presenting Google’s advertising solutions tailored to meet clients’ marketing needs.
- Deliver insightful, data-driven analyses and consultative advice that supports customer objectives and identifies significant opportunities for growth with actionable recommendations.
- Gain deep knowledge of Google’s advertising products and their application to fulfill a variety of marketing goals.
Minimum & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or comparable practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or advertising, or 3 years if holding an advanced degree.
- Preferred: Minimum 3 years managing client, agency, or service partner relationships.
- Experience operating within complex, matrixed organizations and handling online advertising for 2 or more years.
- Proven ability in planning and executing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong prioritization skills managing a high volume of client accounts.
- Excellent communication skills enabling robust relationships at all client levels, including executive leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
This role offers a competitive base salary in the range of $156,000 to $160,000 CAD annually, supplemented by a target bonus of approximately 40%. Equity and comprehensive benefits are also provided.
