Role Overview

This role is pivotal in driving sales by collaborating with potential clients to maximize the benefits of our fundraising platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize the MEDDICC sales qualification framework to systematically identify, build, and manage your sales pipeline with precision.
  • Primarily generate your own sales leads and pipeline.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for medium to large new customers—from initial outreach, discovery sessions, product demonstrations, through to contract negotiation.
  • Deliver compelling web-based presentations showcasing strong product expertise and standard inside sales methodologies.
  • Engage with VP and C-suite executives, effectively navigating multiple stakeholders to secure necessary approvals.
  • Consistently surpass quarterly and annual sales targets, earning competitive compensation.
  • Develop a deep understanding of both GoFundMe Pro tools and the nonprofit sector to enable strategic and consultative sales conversations.
  • Participate actively in mentorship and sales advocate programs within GoFundMe Pro.
  • Organize and host regional events to build new sales opportunities.
  • Represent GoFundMe Pro at various industry-related events.
  • Support team meetings by contributing new strategies and fostering productive discussions.
  • Lead additional pipeline management initiatives and pilot new sales process improvements.
  • Accurately forecast quarterly sales performance.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of advancing B2B inside sales experience.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience in a SaaS environment.
  • Proven ability and enthusiasm for outbound lead generation and demand creation.
  • Experience handling a specified territory or portfolio focused on new business development.
  • Expertise in pipeline management and sales processes, including sales stage management.
  • A strong, competitive drive demonstrated by consistent overachievement of targets.
  • Excellent communication, including listening, negotiation, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Affinity for fast-paced startup environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
  • Training in sales methodologies such as Sandler, MEDDICC, or other solution-based selling and forecasting techniques.
  • Experience selling to the nonprofit sector.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. partnerships, solutions engineers, marketing) to close deals.
  • Experience with tools like Salesloft, 6Sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Chorus.

Why Join Us?

  • Make a meaningful impact by supporting a mission-driven company that positively affects millions annually.
  • Work in an innovative, diverse, and energetic environment alongside passionate professionals.
  • Engage with a collaborative team that celebrates success together.
  • Receive competitive pay and extensive healthcare benefits.
  • Benefit from financial support for hybrid work, family planning, generous parental leave, flexible time off, and mental health resources.
  • Access continuous learning, development, and recognition programs to advance your career.
  • Contribute to ongoing diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives and employee resource groups.
