About Puff Media and the Role
Puff Media is seeking an Account Executive to join our expanding client services team based in Brooklyn, NY. This full-time position focuses on managing client relationships and coordinating projects, particularly within the TikTok Shop ecosystem. While prior experience with TikTok Shop is not required, training on the platform and business model will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary daily point of contact for designated brand clients.
- Organize and lead client meetings including check-ins, status updates, and recap sessions.
- Convert client objectives and feedback into precise internal briefs for production and creative teams.
- Monitor campaign schedules and deliverables, proactively highlighting potential risks.
- Develop meeting agendas, summarize calls, and manage follow-up communications.
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and campaign presentations.
- Gain hands-on knowledge of TikTok Shop, live commerce, and creator strategies through ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in account management, client services, or project management roles.
- Background working in marketing agencies, PR firms, or brand environments is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage expectations and navigate challenging discussions professionally.
- Strong organizational skills capable of handling multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proactive self-starter willing to take initiative independently.
- Enthusiastic about social commerce with a willingness to learn and grow in the space.
- Located in or able to commute to Brooklyn, NY.
Preferred Attributes
- Exposure to TikTok, TikTok Shop, or similar live streaming platforms is a plus.
- Experience with consumer brands, particularly in beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
- Ability to speak Mandarin is beneficial.
Compensation and Work Details
Compensation ranges from $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. This role may be full-time or on a contract basis and requires onsite attendance in Brooklyn, NY.
