Academic Counselor

Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and goal-oriented Academic Counselor to join the team at Gold's Gym Fitness Institute, part of Cult.fit, located in Mumbai. This role focuses on promoting and selling various fitness-related certificate courses, such as fitness certifications, personal trainer certifications, and group fitness certifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth by converting new leads and meeting monthly and quarterly sales goals for certificate courses.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through effective prospecting and networking.
• Design and execute sales strategies that enhance course enrollments, involving promotions, discounts, and bundled offers.
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and advocating for the institute's offerings.
• Perform detailed needs assessments to recommend the most suitable certificate courses that ensure customer satisfaction.
• Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients, creating positive and lasting impressions.
• Handle sales administration duties, including data input, managing leads, and preparing sales reports.
• Report regularly to Sales Manager or Institute Head on sales performance and suggest areas for improvement.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant educational background in sales, marketing, or related disciplines.
• At least one year of sales experience, ideally in education or fitness sectors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage and influence customers.
• Demonstrated sales proficiency with skills in negotiation and closing deals.
• Knowledgeable about the fitness industry, particularly fitness certifications, personal training, and group fitness.
