About the company
Aleori is a young startup building a mobile app that helps families stay organized, with an emphasis on playful and engaging user experiences.
Role overview
The company is seeking a skilled 2D artist / illustrator to help define the product’s visual language. The work will involve creating illustrations, environments, characters, and supporting artwork that make the app feel lively and cohesive.
This is an initial freelance engagement lasting 1 to 2 months. If the collaboration works well, there may be an opportunity to continue longer term.
Key work
- Develop polished illustrations, scene backgrounds, characters, and decorative visual elements.
- Build illustration components that can be reused and integrated into a Flutter-based application.
- Work directly with the founders to refine and establish the product’s visual direction.
- Deliver assets in a clean, developer-friendly format ready for production use.
- Keep the illustration style uniform across the entire product.
- Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance the overall visual experience.
Profile and experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience working as a 2D artist or illustrator.
- A portfolio that shows strong-quality work for games, mobile apps, or similar digital products.
- Advanced ability with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, or comparable professional design tools.
- Hands-on experience creating characters, environments, props, and other digital illustration assets.
- Background in preparing vector assets that are suitable for production in digital products.
- Experience designing reusable illustrations for scalable product interfaces.
- Solid grasp of composition, color theory, and visual consistency.
- Comfort with revising work quickly while keeping quality high.
- Willingness to use modern AI tools as part of the creative process.
- Intermediate or higher English communication skills.
