Telugu Transcription & Annotation Executive - Internship (WFH)

About the internship

This remote internship is for Telugu-speaking candidates who will support AI data collection, transcription, and annotation work. The role focuses on converting Telugu audio into clean text and completing annotation tasks according to project rules for speech recognition and language technology projects.

What you'll do

• Transcribe Telugu audio recordings accurately.
• Carry out audio annotation, segmentation, speaker identification, and metadata tagging.
• Spot unclear audio, background noise, speaker shifts, and transcription mistakes.
• Work strictly within the transcription and annotation guidelines provided for each project.
• Keep output accurate, consistent, and productive.
• Review and proofread transcription files before sending them in.
• Track completed work and project status.
• Discuss corrections and feedback with project managers.
• Protect the confidentiality of client files and audio assets.
• Finish assigned tasks within the given deadlines.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship, able to begin between 3rd Jul'26 and 7th Aug'26, and ready to commit for 2 months. Candidates should have relevant skills and interest in the work.

Requirements

• Strong command of Telugu, including reading, writing, and listening.
• Ability to perform Telugu transcription and audio/data annotation.
• Good listening skills, with the ability to catch errors and unclear speech.
• Experience with proofreading and editing is useful.
• Attention to detail, time management, and a quality-focused approach.
• Basic computer skills.
• Access to a laptop or desktop with stable internet connectivity.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high accuracy.
• Native or fluent Telugu speakers are preferred.
• Prior exposure to transcription, annotation, AI data collection, or language technology work is an added advantage.
• Freshers with excellent Telugu language skills are welcome.
• Candidates should be responsible, punctual, and committed to quality.

Compensation and perks

The stipend is INR 7,000 to 24,000 per month. The pay structure includes fixed pay of ₹5,000 to ₹15,000 per month plus incentive pay of ₹2,000 to ₹9,000 per month. Additional benefits include a certificate and a letter of recommendation.
