Tamil Transcription QC & Language Quality Analyst - Internship (WFH)

About the internship

This internship is for Tamil-language candidates who are comfortable handling transcription quality control, audio verification, annotation review, and language quality assurance. The role focuses on checking Tamil transcription files against the source audio to confirm that the output matches client expectations and project standards.

What you will do

• Compare Tamil transcription files with the original audio and review them for accuracy.
• Spot issues in spelling, grammar, punctuation, formatting, timestamps, and speaker tagging.
• Identify missing text, incorrect wording, poor segmentation, and any departures from the project instructions.
• Make quality corrections to improve consistency and accuracy across files.
• Carry out audio checks and confirm that the transcription is complete.
• Assess annotation output and flag guideline or labeling problems.
• Keep clear records of edits, findings, and quality observations.
• Work with internal teams on revisions and client-driven feedback.
• Take part in review rounds and help improve overall quality outcomes.
• Protect the confidentiality of client audio assets and project data.
• Finish QC assignments within the agreed timelines.

Who can apply

This opportunity is open to candidates who can work from home, can begin between 2nd Jul'26 and 6th Aug'26, can commit for 2 months, and have the relevant skills and interest. Computer Science Engineering students are also eligible. Preference is given to candidates with strong Tamil listening, reading, writing, and comprehension ability, along with access to a laptop or desktop and stable internet.

Requirements

• Strong command of Tamil, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension.
• Hands-on exposure to Tamil transcription QC, audio QC, proofreading, editing, or language review is preferred.
• Ability to review data annotations and content for quality issues.
• Good listening skills and the ability to catch transcription errors quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Capability to maintain high accuracy while meeting deadlines.
• A laptop or desktop with a reliable internet connection is required.
• Native or fluent Tamil speakers will be preferred.
• Immediate joiners will be preferred.
• Candidates should be responsible, detail-focused, and quality-oriented.
