The product lets users sign in with GitHub, receive a humorous engineer archetype, and compete on a daily leaderboard while navigating layoffs, startup pivots, AI hype cycles, and other career twists.
What you'll do
- Regularly play the game and note anything that feels unclear, dull, entertaining, or likely to get shared.
- Contribute ideas to strengthen the daily replay experience, including brag cards, leaderboard engagement, “beat my seed” sharing, and retention-focused hooks.
- Test pre-release builds, spot issues, and document bugs with step-by-step reproduction details.
- Gather feedback from early users and distill the main product improvements needed.
- Support small-scale marketing tests across Reddit, X/Twitter, Discord, college communities, and developer groups.
- Draft short, developer-focused content such as posts, memes, launch copy, changelog updates, and screenshot-based assets.
- Study comparable viral products and games such as Wordle, GitHub Wrapped, Reigns, and other indie web games.
