Sales and Marketing Internship (Work From Home)

About the internship

This internship offers practical exposure to sales and merchandising within modern trade retail settings. Interns will spend time on the store floor, learning how product display, shelf placement, and customer interaction influence performance. The assignment also includes studying how HRI products are positioned against competing brands by looking at pricing, promotional activity, and shopper preferences.

What you will do

You will be involved in selling products directly to customers, improving on-floor presentation, and observing retail execution in real store environments. The work is designed to connect classroom concepts with day-to-day retail and FMCG practices.

The project locations mentioned for field work include Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, and Delhi NCR.

Project deliverables

The internship is expected to conclude with a detailed report that covers sales performance, merchandising observations from the shop floor, and a comparison of the company’s products with competitors.

Who can apply

Applications are open only to candidates who can work from home, are able to begin between 10th Aug'26 and 16th Aug'26, and can commit for 1 week. Applicants should have relevant skills and interest in the role. Women looking to begin or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Other requirements

Preferred applicants are students pursuing MBA, PGDM, or BCOM. Candidates should be comfortable with field-based work and should be interested in the listed project locations: Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Pune, and Delhi NCR.

Perks and stipend

The internship includes a certificate and flexible working hours. The stipend is ₹1,500 to ₹1,502 per week, with fixed pay of ₹1,000 to ₹1,001 per week and incentive pay of ₹500 to ₹501 per week.
