About the internship
Qubixo is looking for a cybersecurity intern to contribute to hands-on security work on live projects. This role offers practical exposure to modern cyber defense tasks while working with an experienced technical team. The internship will make use of knowledge in Python, computer networking, ethical hacking, VAPT, web application security, and Linux.
What you'll do
- Perform security reviews and penetration tests to uncover weaknesses in systems.
- Create and put into practice controls that help safeguard networks and data against cyber risks.
- Work with the IT team to support secure working practices across systems and processes.
- Review security logs, investigate unusual activity, and help respond to incidents.
- Keep track of current developments, tools, and trends in cybersecurity.
- Support the creation and refinement of security policies and procedures.
- Take part in security awareness and training efforts for employees.
