Yard and Drive Thru Team Member - Masterton

Position Overview

Join our team at the Masterton branch as a Yard and Drive Thru Team Member. In this permanent full-time role, you will contribute to smooth daily operations by assisting customers, managing inventory, and loading products in the timber yard and Drive Thru area.

Main Duties

• Offer assistance and excellent service to customers within the timber yard and Drive Thru department
• Load goods efficiently onto customer vehicles
• Process customer orders and complete transactions accurately
• Prepare orders for delivery when required
• Perform inventory monitoring and cycle counts
• Support warehouse efficiency through assigned tasks
• Operate a forklift safely and competently

Working Conditions

This role involves 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday plus rostered Saturdays, based at our Masterton location.

Candidate Profile

• Possession of a full clean Class 1 driver licence; forklift licence or relevant experience preferred
• Previous trade, product knowledge, or warehousing experience advantageous
• Physically robust with strong commitment to health and safety practices
• Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team setting
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
• Competent computer skills and numeracy
