About the Role
As the Workforce Planning Manager at Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change, you will spearhead the organization's workforce planning strategies by leading labor forecasting, reporting, analytics, and labor optimization projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and supporting business growth. This position requires close collaboration with Operations leadership to establish and maintain labor standards, analyze workforce trends, and pinpoint opportunities to optimize staffing and labor performance.
The role involves managing labor forecasting, reporting, workforce analytics, labor matrices, turnover analysis, and service time studies while ensuring data accuracy and alignment with company objectives. Additionally, it entails working cross-functionally with Operations and Learning & Development teams to set labor best practices, support training programs, and drive ongoing improvements for consistency and scalability.
Responsibilities
- Generate and distribute labor reports to operations leadership regularly.
- Take ownership of labor reports and identify potential areas for enhancement.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to synchronize labor standards.
- Manage labor forecasting processes and labor matrices.
- Maintain updated labor forecasts by incorporating logical trends, especially considering holiday periods.
- Perform labor analyses to recommend improvements in labor models.
- Analyze turnover trends segmented by region, market, and role.
- Partner with Operations and Learning & Development to develop and update training materials around labor best practices.
- Support time studies using insights from camera systems to determine appropriate service times by service type.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
- Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal and communication capabilities.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-growing environment.
- Adaptable to shifting conditions within a rapidly expanding company.
- Proficient in Excel formulas and PivotTables.
- Experience with PowerBI is advantageous.
