Web Application Developer - AI Trainer

Role overview

This role is for an experienced web application developer who will help improve AI systems through coding-focused training work. You’ll join a large and expanding community of technical contributors working across front-end, back-end, full-stack, machine learning, and related engineering areas to support practical AI development.

The work combines flexibility with technical depth. You’ll interact with advanced AI models to complete programming assignments such as creating and solving challenging coding problems, building polished applications with substantial functionality, and turning data into meaningful insights through analysis and visualization. Some contributors use this as a side engagement alongside another full-time job, while others make it their main work and select assignments based on their own availability.

How the process works

After creating an account, you will complete a brief assessment that acts as the selection step. If you are successful, you’ll receive confirmation by email, and paid tasks will become available through the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Create and solve a wide variety of coding challenges that help train AI systems, with particular attention to Android development.
• Produce concise, well-structured code examples along with clear technical explanations.
• Review AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, and readability.
• Share feedback that helps improve the next generation of AI models.

Qualifications and requirements

• You should be fluent in English at a native or bilingual level.
• Experience with Kotlin is preferred.
• You must be proficient in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, or Swift.
• Strong written communication, including grammar and clarity, is required.
• A bachelor’s degree, either completed or currently underway, is required.
• Prior experience as a software developer, coder, software engineer, or programmer is preferred.

Contract and payment details

This is an independent contractor role. Payment is issued through PayPal, and currency conversion from USD will be handled by PayPal if needed. The company will never request any payment from applicants.

The assignment is open only to candidates based in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand. Applicants outside these locations will not have access to tasks or assessments at this time.

Flexible working arrangement

You can choose which projects to take on and decide when to work. The role is performed from your own computer and can be done from home.

Compensation

Projects are compensated at hourly rates starting from $50 to $100+ per hour, with higher pay available for certain assignments.
