Warehouse Manager

Overview

This role involves overseeing the comprehensive management of multiple warehouse locations, including Royal Palms and Bhiwandi warehouses in Mumbai. The Warehouse Manager is responsible for inventory oversight, staff allocation, and ensuring smooth operational workflows across all sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all warehouse activities at both Royal Palms and Bhiwandi locations.
• Maintain strict control over inventory by approving every incoming and outgoing item and securing client confirmation for all stock movements.
• Allocate personnel to appropriate warehouses and tasks based on daily operational needs.
• Coordinate the transfer of stock between warehouses to optimize storage space.
• Oversee the daily operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate QR code-based inventory systems at all sites.
• Ensure that all items are labeled and systematically organized for quick retrieval.
• Lead and manage supervisors and loaders across all warehouse locations.
• Arrange pickups and deliveries in collaboration with courier partners such as Porter.
• Maintain a clean and pest-free environment for all warehouses.
• Handle costumes and clothing items with care to prevent damage or moisture exposure.
• Manage relationships with vendors providing packing materials, transportation services, and repair work.
• Assist clients, particularly production teams, with urgent or onsite requirements.
• Ensure warehouse security and safety standards are rigorously upheld.
• Provide regular stock updates and report any operational issues to senior management.
• Lead stock counts and audits across all warehouse locations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in warehouse or store management.
• Experience supervising multiple locations or managing large teams is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using Excel, Google Sheets, or similar inventory management tools.
• Strong organizational and people management skills.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions proactively, and assume responsibility.
• Location preference: Residing near Royal Palms, Mumbai, with willingness to travel to Bhiwandi.
• Good communication skills in basic English, Hindi, or Marathi languages.

Desirable Skills

• Background in rental services, logistics, e-commerce, costume management, or film production sectors.
• Experience with handling clothing or fabric items.
• Familiarity with QR code or barcode inventory systems.
