Position Overview

As a Warehouse Manager in Toronto, you will be pivotal in optimizing warehouse operations, managing inventory and costs, leading teams, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to support seamless supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and enhance warehouse processes including inbound, inventory, and outbound operations; improve layout and routing, deploy automation to boost space and labor efficiency, reduce operational expenses, and ensure smooth warehouse functioning.
• Develop and oversee inventory management tactics focusing on turnover, accuracy, and structure; manage slow-moving and irregular stock; align resource allocation to control costs and strengthen inventory effectiveness.
• Lead warehouse teams by setting operational standards, training, and fostering compliance; implement standardized procedures and quality controls to maintain safety and service excellence.
• Utilize data analytics to monitor warehouse performance in timeliness, cost, and quality; work collaboratively with logistics, sales, and supply chain teams to resolve issues and optimize end-to-end operations.
• Create industry-tailored warehouse solutions for sectors such as cold chain and bulky goods; compile SOPs and cost benchmarks; stay abreast of industry advancements to drive innovation and establish warehouse intelligence for competitive advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related disciplines.
• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in third-party logistics or warehouse management, including team leadership.
• Strong command of warehouse systems (WMS/OMS) and key operational metrics.
• Proven skills in process design, warehouse layout planning, and cost control.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving abilities, and data-driven decision-making prowess.
• Mandatory proficiency in Mandarin alongside English.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Experience in high-volume e-commerce fulfillment operations.
• Familiarity with both manual and automated warehouse environments.
• Knowledge of lean management and continuous improvement practices.
• Capability to excel in a dynamic, deadline-oriented setting.
