Job Overview
The Warehouse Executive role focuses on the efficient management of automobile spare parts, ensuring proper storage, handling, and dispatch to support uninterrupted supply chain activities. This position is tasked with maintaining precise inventory records, promoting safety and quality standards throughout warehouse operations, and collaborating with related teams.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming spare parts to verify accuracy, quantity, and condition, immediately reporting any inconsistencies or damages to supervisors.
- Organize warehouse inventory by categorizing, labeling, and stacking parts properly to facilitate ease of access and efficient storage.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and perform regular cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.
- Manage the picking, packing, and dispatch process of spare parts to service teams, branches, or customers ensuring timely and correct deliveries.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and well-maintained, adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Prepare detailed reports regarding stock status, damages, delivery updates, and inventory movements, maintaining comprehensive warehouse documentation.
- Collaborate closely with procurement and logistics departments to ensure the availability of parts and assist in training junior warehouse staff when necessary.
Qualification and Experience
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Have at least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, ideally within the automotive sector.
- Demonstrate knowledge in handling automobile spare parts and controlling inventory.
- Be proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software.
- Exhibit strong organizational capabilities and time-management skills.
- Capable of functioning effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Have basic computer literacy including Microsoft Excel and email communication.
- Physically able to lift and maneuver inventory items safely.
Working Conditions
- The role requires frequent standing, bending, and lifting.
- Mandatory adherence to the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and warehouse safety procedures.
