Role Overview

The VMC Machine Operator will be responsible for executing and validating jobs on Vertical Machining Center (VMC) machines while ensuring flawless manufacturing processes. This role includes leading new process implementations, maintaining process controls, and mentoring team members to enhance operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform job proofing on VMC machines to guarantee precision and efficiency.
• Define, describe, and lead the rollout of new manufacturing processes.
• Ensure that rigorous engineering and validation standards are applied during process design and machine setups.
• Develop and maintain processes aimed at achieving zero defects consistently.
• Monitor manufacturing process parameters and uphold control standards.
• Drive continuous process improvements and mentor colleagues to adopt enhanced practices.
• Investigate new materials and development methodologies for manufacturing advancement.
• Organize and manage existing engineering documentation systematically.
• Conduct physical testing on engineering prototypes to validate quality and specifications.
