Vice President, Operational Excellence

Role Overview

The Vice President (VP) of Operational Excellence is tasked with steering strategic planning, optimizing processes, and elevating operational efficiency across the entire enterprise. This role covers formulating operational strategies, managing processes, collaborating on production and supply chains, enhancing operational performance, controlling costs, managing quality, and implementing a culture of continuous improvement to ensure sustainable and competitive growth in the global jewelry industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop medium- and long-term operational strategies and plans focused on operational excellence.
• Enhance overall operational systems and business workflows to boost organizational efficiency.
• Champion the standardization, digital transformation, and lean management within operational frameworks.
• Align operational objectives with the broader corporate strategy.
• Build and refine the operational process management framework to identify bottlenecks and drive process efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and promote lean operations methodologies.
• Set operational standards and best practices to elevate execution effectiveness.
• Oversee production, procurement, supply chain, and logistics, optimizing collaboration to improve delivery timelines and resource use.
• Enhance production planning, inventory, and supply chain activities to reduce costs and strengthen competitiveness.
• Create a comprehensive operational performance indicator system for data-driven analysis and enhancement.
• Implement a Total Quality Management system and refine quality control to mitigate operational risk while meeting production and customer standards.
• Promote collaboration across departments including operations, production, sales, product, and finance to boost synergy and organizational performance.
• Manage operational risks and develop contingency plans to maintain safe and steady business performance supporting global growth.

Preferred Qualifications

• 20 to 25 years of experience in operations management or operational excellence roles.
• At least 8 years in senior management positions, such as director or higher.
• Experience in jewelry, luxury goods, manufacturing, or premium consumer goods sectors is advantageous.
• Background in global operations, supply chain optimization, or management within international enterprises is preferred.
• Expertise in process improvement, lean management, cost control, and operational system development.
• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, coordination, and execution skills.
