Job Overview and Location

This role is based in Woodlands, Singapore, at Ren Ci Hospital and falls under Ancillary Support services.

Primary Duties

• Support the driver in safely picking up and dropping off clients at designated points ensuring kerb-to-kerb service.
• Provide door-to-door assistance and escort clients as needed.
• Open and close the back door only when the area is clear for safety reasons.
• Ensure client safety during loading and unloading, particularly when using the lifter platform.
• Make sure the lifter platform is completely level with the vehicle platform before moving clients.
• Secure wheelchairs with seat belts throughout the transfer process in and out of the vehicle.
• Ensure ambulant passengers wear their seat belts during transit in the vehicle.
• Clamp wheelchairs securely with Q’STRAINT belts at a minimum of three critical points.
• Remain with clients until they are properly handed over and never leave them unattended.
• Assist clients to a safe waiting area while the vehicle stops at pick-up or drop-off locations.
• Communicate any delays or updates promptly to clients or their next of kin.
• Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the Reporting Officer.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum education level of N Level certification.
• Ability to communicate in simple English is essential.
• At least one year of relevant experience is required.
