About the Role
The Utility Worker position at Collier County Public Schools involves various operational tasks within the maintenance department. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prefers candidates with construction or trade-related experience.
Responsibilities and Physical Requirements
- Perform general maintenance duties as assigned.
- Occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Operate forklifts and adhere to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- Preferred experience includes one year related to construction or trade work.
- Possession of a Class E driver's license and Forklift Operator Certificate, or candidates must secure these within two months of employment.
Additional Information
- Position located at the Maintenance department of Collier County Public Schools.
- Work calendar includes 250 days annually.
- Remuneration is set at Non-Bargaining Range - 3F for a full-time equivalent position.
