Role overview
Coca-Cola Beverages Africa is seeking a Utilities Artisan to support the reliability and performance of key plant utility systems at its Phoenix, KwaZulu-Natal site.
Key responsibilities
- Work hands-on with utility assets such as boilers, air compressors, chillers, pumps, HVAC systems, and water systems.
- Carry out planned maintenance as well as repairs when equipment fails.
- Diagnose faults, identify the underlying causes of breakdowns, and help prevent repeat issues.
- Ensure all work complies with legal, statutory, and safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections and monitor equipment condition to spot early signs of wear or malfunction.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving water and energy efficiency.
- Accurately complete job cards and maintain records through a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Assist during plant shutdowns and provide support on projects as required.
