Role Overview
We are hiring a full-time onsite Travel Advisor located in Vijayawada East. This role involves engaging with clients to understand their travel preferences, budgets, and goals, then suggesting appropriate destinations, itineraries, and packages. Daily tasks include booking transportation, accommodations, and tours, coordinating with partner agencies, ensuring accuracy of travel documents and confirmations, responding to inquiries, managing itinerary changes or cancellations, maintaining client records, and performing follow-ups to enhance customer satisfaction. Collaborating with colleagues to improve services and promote VK Tours is also part of the position.
Key Qualifications
- Strong focus on customer service and satisfaction, with the ability to establish trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clearly presenting travel options, policies, and itineraries.
- Experienced in making precise travel arrangements including bookings and coordination with vendors.
- Background in travel agencies or similar service environments with knowledge of industry standards and vendor management.
- Organized with effective time management to juggle multiple clients and deadlines efficiently.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with booking systems or reservation software.
- Knowledge about popular domestic and international travel destinations; local expertise in Vijayawada is a plus.
- Previous work in travel, hospitality, or tourism is preferred; certifications or completed coursework related to travel or tourism are advantageous.
