Program overview
The Global Trading team trades oil, natural gas, and other energy products globally with a strong focus on safety and responsibility. The team uses expertise in analytics, logistics, origination, and energy-market knowledge to create value from global assets and deliver strong commercial results.
The Trader Development Program is a fast-moving graduate pathway designed to build the capabilities needed for a successful career as an energy trader. From day one, participants are given real work and practical exposure to develop core trading skills.
What you will do
- Take part in multiple rotations across trading-related functions to gain exposure to operations, risk, and analytics.
- Build foundational trading capability through structured learning, hands-on work, and regular feedback.
- Work closely with Senior Traders for mentoring, coaching, and performance feedback throughout the program.
- Complete a formal end-of-program assessment to evaluate readiness for a trading career.
- Progress into trading roles with increasing complexity, accountability, and market exposure if successful.
