Role Overview
The Tendering Specialist position is a full-time onsite role located in Gujarat, involving end-to-end management of tenders and bidding activities. Responsibilities include examining tender documents, evaluating eligibility, preparing compliant bids for public and institutional clients, and collaborating with internal teams to collect technical and commercial inputs. The role requires drafting and improving proposals ensuring conformity to portal and regulatory standards. Daily tasks consist of monitoring relevant tenders, updating bid schedules, supporting audit processes, and aiding in pricing and risk evaluations. Regular communication with clients and regulatory authorities, participation in pre-bid discussions when necessary, and maintaining meticulous records of submissions and outcomes are also integral components of the position.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in managing the entire tendering cycle and familiarity with public procurement portals.
- Robust analytical abilities to interpret tender criteria, identify risks, and contribute to data-driven pricing strategies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Competency in professional proposal writing, developing structured, compliant, and persuasive bid documents.
- Understanding of procurement regulations, documentation standards, and government contracting protocols.
- Educational background preferably includes a bachelor's degree in business, commerce, engineering, public administration, or related fields.
- Experience with government tendering, e-procurement platforms like GeM or state portals, or consultancy roles is advantageous.
- Attention to detail, proficiency in standard office software, and ability to handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential.
