This role is pivotal in validating trades, reconciling data across different treasury functions, reporting on risk metrics, and improving processes to support financial controls and risk management objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage risk by setting and enforcing exposure and stop-loss limits for all treasury activities, and generate regular utilization and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Promptly address any limit breaches by securing trade ratification and developing action plans to restore compliance; provide updates on breaches and corrective progress to management.
- Conduct detailed risk analytics, including calculation and reporting of Value at Risk (VaR) on a routine basis.

- Support implementation of advanced risk management systems through intelligence reporting and business analysis.
- Control trade execution by monitoring authorized channels such as FXGo, Bloomberg Chat, and official voice calls; escalate unauthorized trading activities immediately.
- Maintain current dealer mandates, ensuring treasury transactions comply with corporate authorization protocols.
- Prepare and distribute daily profit and loss (PnL) statements for all trading and risk management desks within Group Treasury.
- Validate and reconcile trade valuations and mark-to-market figures by evaluating FinMechanics pricing methodologies.
- Quantify and consistently report treasury risk exposures and sensitivities at desk and group level.
- Develop and maintain a robust covenant tracking framework that monitors financial, operational, and hedging covenant compliance across debt instruments like USD Bonds, ECBs, and bilateral facilities to prevent default risks.
- Analyze and report on the economic impact of treasury strategies and decisions.
- Benchmark actual hedge costs against standards for USD Bonds, ECBs, and Foreign Currency Loans, sharing findings regularly.
- Coordinate Debt Capital Markets (DCM) documentation in collaboration with legal teams, lead managers, and business units to ensure timely execution.
- Act as the liaison for internal audits, ensuring prompt resolution of findings and establishing clear remediation timelines.
