Position Overview
We invite you to join our dynamic MarketStar team as a Team Leader for a one-year fixed term contract, working closely with Mailchimp, a premier marketing platform provider. This role involves hands-on leadership as we build and expand a high-performing EMEA sales team to handle inbound and outbound sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain active involvement while adapting to client strategies and market changes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a sales team delivering against targets and KPIs aligned with client and MarketStar expectations.
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of client offerings to empower the team across various EMEA territories.
- Identify and implement improvements in systems, processes, and structures to boost team efficiency.
- Cultivate a collaborative culture focused on teamwork and excellence.
- Provide thought leadership within the broader sales organization.
- Ensure adherence to team goals set by the client.
- Oversee daily operations in coordination with client contacts.
- Manage performance discipline, scheduling, attendance, time-card approvals, evaluations, and other management activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Fluency in English.
- Minimum 2 years' experience managing or coaching sales representatives within the technology sector.
- Hands-on experience with end-to-end sales cycles or developing new business via prospecting.
- High energy with proactive problem-solving ability inside and beyond assigned roles.
- Strong presentation, listening, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to devise and implement new processes and workflows to improve team performance.
- Customer-focused with the ability to motivate and uphold high standards.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and professionally capable of multitasking in a dynamic setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and relevant IT software and hardware.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and aptitude for data-informed decision-making.

The annual base salary ranges from €50,000 to €60,000, composed of a €50,000 base figure plus a variable bonus of €10,000. Compensation is influenced by responsibilities, experience, education, skills, location, and internal equity, with further details provided during the recruitment process.
