Role Overview

Maple Reinders Group is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join its Human Resources team at the Mississauga, Ontario location on a contract basis. This role supports the entire recruitment lifecycle, ensuring seamless collaboration with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition department to attract, engage, and onboard top candidates while maintaining a positive candidate experience and efficient hiring procedures.

Key Duties

  • Arrange and coordinate interviews among candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters
  • Manage job advertisement postings on various platforms like job boards, social media, and the company's career page
  • Assist with reviewing applications, screening candidates, and shortlisting resumes
  • Administer the internal employee referral program and maintain tracking
  • Keep accurate candidate data and recruitment activities updated in the Applicant Tracking System (Workable)
  • Conduct reference checks and organize pre-employment screenings
  • Prepare employment offer letters and facilitate onboarding for new hires
  • Support job description development and updates
  • Monitor candidate pipelines and provide regular recruitment status reports to managers and stakeholders
  • Participate in campus recruitment, career fairs, and professional networking events
  • Assist employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives to attract top talent
  • Track recruitment metrics and contribute to reporting key hiring performance indicators
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience during all recruitment stages
  • Identify and recommend improvements to recruitment workflows and strategies
  • Support additional talent acquisition and workforce projects as needed

Candidate Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or related HR roles
  • Prior experience handling full-cycle recruitment is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems, particularly Workable, is preferred
  • Strong skills in organization, time management, and handling multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
  • Interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and professionalism in managing sensitive data
