Role Overview

The Systems Specialist will join a dedicated team focused on maintaining and enhancing ASB's core finance and procurement systems. Responsibilities include providing daily support and addressing complex challenges to ensure these critical tools are dependable, scalable, and consistently improving. The role offers autonomy within a small, close-knit agile squad, where your input influences priorities and ways of working.

Key Skills and Experience

• Proven experience supporting enterprise-grade SaaS and on-premises applications.
• Familiarity with system integrations involving APIs, SFTP, and SQL transformations.
• Practical knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Oracle, or Google Cloud.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery frameworks.
• Competent in managing Linux and Windows servers, including patching and troubleshooting tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical troubleshooting abilities.
• Accumulated 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in these areas.

The role does not require database administration as a primary responsibility; a separate team manages the Oracle database backend.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is proactive, cooperative, and enthusiastic about resolving issues, optimizing processes, and supporting vital financial systems in a dynamic environment. They demonstrate curiosity for emerging technologies and can adeptly work across both cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and accountability are key values, supplemented by strong communication and documentation skills facilitating coordination with technical and business teams. The candidate will also contribute towards enhancing the stability and performance of financial platforms.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Background in middleware or integration technologies, with any iPaaS or Oracle Integration Cloud experience considered advantageous.
• Familiarity with financial or ERP systems such as Infinite or accounting applications.
• Experience working within regulated environments emphasizing precision and compliance.
• Knowledge of test automation tools and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience supporting Planning Analytics (TM1) and administering Linux/Windows Server and IIS.
