Systems Specialist (ERP)

Position Summary

Old School Brand is seeking a proactive Systems Specialist to lead and maintain their ERP system, specifically within the Cin7 platform, for their multi-channel retail business based in Brackengate, Western Cape. This role requires comprehensive ownership of the ERP environment, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance across operations, finance, and sales divisions.

Key Duties

• Complete ownership and management of the Cin7 system including configuration, troubleshooting, and continuous enhancement.
• Oversee and monitor all system integrations to ensure proper reconciliation and functioning.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, sales, and other departments to promote accurate system usage and convey system improvement needs to the technology team.
• Detect and address inefficiencies in platform communications proactively to prevent potential business disruptions.
• Potential leadership of a direct report as the team expands.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum educational attainment of matriculation; higher education such as a degree or diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, Business Management, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven background in systems or ERP specialist roles within retail or e-commerce sectors.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Cin7 is essential.
• Strong financial literacy with knowledge of finance operations.
• Experience in retail industry environments is mandatory.
• Advantageous: Experience with Shopify and Shopify POS, as well as managing integrations within multi-channel retail or e-commerce platforms.
