Role Overview

We invite you to join Karo Healthcare in Maidenhead as a Supply Chain Planner. This role offers the chance to manage inventory deployment within a dynamic, international supply chain, collaborating with multiple market teams and logistics partners. You'll gain substantial experience engaging with Amazon fulfilment, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically plan inventory placement and stock transfers across various internal and external warehouses within the UK and Ireland supply chain.
• Monitor stock availability, assess inventory health, manage ageing stock, and optimize working capital.
• Plan replenishment activities for Amazon Fulfilment Centres and support Amazon Seller and Vendor initiatives.
• Coordinate inventory with third-party and digital fulfilment platforms to ensure efficient stock flow.
• Collaborate closely with third-party logistics (3PL) partners for inbound, outbound, and warehouse stock movements.
• Track warehouse capacity, report discrepancies, and forecast replenishment needs effectively.
• Work alongside Commercial, Customer Logistics, Finance, and Global Supply teams to align supply chain objectives.
• Identify potential supply risks and propose feasible mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to inventory, service, and warehouse operations.
• Support warehouse transition projects, maintain master data, and drive continuous improvement activities.

Candidate Requirements

• 1 to 3 years’ experience in supply chain planning, distribution planning, inventory management, or logistics operations.
• Familiarity with managing multiple warehouses and third-party logistics providers.
• Hands-on understanding of stock deployment, replenishment techniques, and inventory optimization.
• Proficiency in using ERP systems, planning software, and handling multiple sources of data.
• Strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Capacity to prioritize competing tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• A collaborative and customer-centric mindset with a strong sense of accountability.

Experience in the FMCG, consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device sectors is advantageous. Knowledge of Amazon Seller or Vendor systems, warehouse operations, electronic data interchange (EDI), customs processes, or international freight is also beneficial.
