Overview

The Supervisor CCTV role at alfanar Electric is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of CCTV monitoring and ensuring the effective functioning of surveillance and fire safety systems. This position aims to uphold security, safety, and prompt incident management across the facility.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise CCTV monitoring activities ensuring continuous surveillance in designated areas.
• Verify operational status of cameras, recording devices, and monitoring tools.
• Investigate system alerts and unusual activities following security protocols.
• Collaborate with technical teams to address equipment malfunctions and repeated technical issues.
• Manage control room efficiency, including smooth shift transitions and adherence to monitoring procedures.
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, alarms, and system events.
• Oversee and guide CCTV operator teams, schedule shifts, and assign monitoring responsibilities.
• Contribute to recruitment by participating in interviews and candidate evaluations.
• Monitor fire alarm and life safety systems, coordinate responses during emergencies, and ensure documentation of such events.
• Report technical faults and coordinate maintenance and routine system testing.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, prepare incident reports, and uphold data confidentiality standards.
• Support security audits and operational reviews as needed.

Leadership and Management

• Train and mentor subordinates to maximize team performance and morale.
• Delegate tasks equitably and provide guidance to maintain high productivity.
• Drive operational efficiency by meeting delivery targets on time and within budget.
• Resolve daily operational challenges and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Implement quality control measures to enhance processes and operational outputs.
• Develop and adhere to documented systems, policies, and procedures while exploring automation opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards within the workplace.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering or a closely related field.
• Between 4 and 6 years of relevant experience in security and surveillance operations.
• Proficient knowledge of security administration, analysis, architectural principles, best practices, compliance, monitoring, system maintenance, training, and standards.
