DAR AL OMRAN is looking to add an experienced Structural Engineer to its consultancy team for project delivery support in Riyadh.

About the Role

This position suits a senior structural professional with strong background in site supervision and consultancy work on construction projects, with a particular focus on healthcare facilities. The role centers on ensuring that structural works are executed in line with approved design documents, project specifications, quality expectations, safety standards, budget, and schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee structural work on site and verify that all activities follow approved drawings, specifications, relevant codes, and project standards.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders across all stages of the project.
• Examine and sign off on structural shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and related technical documents.
• Track construction of structural elements such as reinforced concrete and steel systems.
• Carry out site checks to confirm workmanship quality and compliance with design intent.
• Spot structural issues during execution and recommend workable engineering remedies.
• Maintain adherence to structural safety rules, quality controls, and project timelines.
• Prepare technical write-ups, inspection records, non-conformance reports, and progress summaries.
• Work with architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams to resolve clashes and coordination issues.
• Take part in project meetings and provide technical input through construction and handover stages.

Qualifications

The employer is seeking a professionally qualified structural engineer with extensive experience in construction consultancy, especially on healthcare-related projects. Previous consultant exposure is required, and the candidate must have substantial hands-on site supervision experience.
