Role Overview
Join a leading air conditioning wholesaler located in Osborne Park, supplying quality air conditioning units and components. We are seeking a dependable Storeperson who thrives in a fast-moving warehouse setting, values precision in stock management, and provides excellent service to trade customers. This role offers ongoing opportunities within a supportive team environment where you can enhance your warehouse and customer service expertise.
Primary Responsibilities
- Accurately picking and packing air conditioning units and associated parts for shipment
- Safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and move stock within the warehouse
- Coordinating courier bookings, scheduling deliveries, and managing collections
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and replenishing shelving as necessary
- Assisting with stocktaking and general warehouse tasks
- Loading and unloading goods received
- Welcoming and supporting trade customers at the counter
- Handling customer inquiries professionally over the phone
- Keeping the warehouse organized, clean, and safe
- Adhering to all health and safety practices
- Collaborating effectively with warehouse and customer service teams
Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts starting at 7:30am and concluding around 3:00 to 3:30pm.
Candidate Requirements
- Essential possession of a current forklift license
- Valid driver's license is mandatory
- Previous experience as a warehouse or storeperson professional
- Proficient and safe forklift operation skills
- Attention to detail with strong accuracy in tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Reliable attendance and a committed work ethic
- Ability to perform manual handling and general warehouse activities
- Dedicated to following workplace safety regulations
