Store Designer

Position Summary

The Store Designer plays a critical role in supporting Global Store Design by developing engaging and consistent retail environments across North American markets. This position involves translating global brand directives into localized store plans while ensuring adherence to brand standards and regional codes.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed floor plans, storefront elevations, 3D models, renderings, and presentation materials aligned with brand guidelines and design strategies.
• Stay informed of current design trends and demonstrate sound business understanding.
• Oversee design deliverables by coordinating with and managing third-party consultants within scheduled timeframes and budgets.
• Review drawings and shop documentation ensuring compliance with established design standards.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve unified project execution.
• Adapt swiftly to evolving business conditions, new design prototypes, or materials.
• Work alongside construction, purchasing, visual merchandising, and store operations teams to deliver functional and brand-consistent designs while protecting design quality.
• Identify challenges potentially affecting schedule, cost, or design integrity and propose effective solutions.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously throughout various stages of development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture, or Interior Design from an accredited school.
• 3 to 5 years of retail-focused design experience preferred.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, BlueBeam, Enscape, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Skilled in 3D modeling, sketching, rendering, and delivering compelling presentations to convey design concepts.
• Exceptional attention to detail and expertise in interpreting and reviewing technical drawings and details.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
• Adaptability and agility in responding to shifting business priorities while consistently meeting goals.
