About the Role

HSBC is hiring a technologically adept Specialist Recruiter to join its new Enterprise Talent Market team in Singapore. This role focuses on delivering the complete recruitment cycle for mid-level and hard-to-fill specialist positions in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

The position is suited to a proactive Talent Acquisition professional who is comfortable using modern hiring tools, automation, and data insights to improve efficiency and deliver a smooth experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle recruitment from the first intake discussion with hiring managers through to offer management and onboarding for specialist roles.
  • Use applicant tracking systems, AI-enabled sourcing tools, automated screening platforms, and analytics dashboards to improve hiring workflows and productivity.
  • Work with Talent Global Capability Centres on always-on and on-demand sourcing, and take ownership of sourcing activity in market when required.
  • Assess applicants through screening and interviews while ensuring a strong candidate experience at every stage.
  • Partner with hiring managers as a trusted advisor, sharing updates, aligning expectations, and recommending sourcing approaches and market insights.
  • Collaborate with Talent Global Capability Centres to support sourcing, coordination, and onboarding as part of the new service delivery model.
  • Coordinate with Employer Brand and Experience teams to strengthen the company’s employer brand and attract strong talent.
  • Spot and implement improvements in recruitment processes to shift time toward higher-value work.
  • Monitor and interpret hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source-of-hire, then use the findings to remove bottlenecks and improve outcomes.
  • Ensure hiring practices follow applicable labor laws, company policies, and current recruiting best practices.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated background in specialist recruitment, ideally in Financial Services.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern ATS platforms and other hiring technologies such as automated interviewing tools and sourcing solutions.
  • Excellent planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several deadlines and competing tasks in a high-pressure setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus the interpersonal ability to build effective working relationships.
