Job Overview
Landmarc Support Services is looking for a Site Operative to join their committed team, responsible for maintaining the facilities at the Training Estate. The role involves keeping accommodation blocks clean and managing the upkeep of grounds and buildings, ensuring a secure and functional environment for Armed Forces personnel during training.
Role Details
- Salary: 25,875.72 + 1,127.50 Variable Days Allowance
- Location: Nesscliff Camp, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY4 1BH
- Contract: Permanent, full-time, onsite
- Working Hours: 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Sunday; shift patterns discussed during interview

Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining general cleanliness of camps, ensuring suitability for use
- Cleaning offices, communal areas, accommodation including ablution and shower blocks
- Conducting routine cleaning tasks: sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Carrying out basic building and grounds maintenance
- Managing stock and supplies
- Completing relevant paperwork through IT or paper-based methods
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Experience or knowledge in housekeeping and caretaking duties
- Understanding of Health and Safety standards and COSHH regulations
- Strong communication abilities
- Competence in handling documentation accurately
- Basic IT skills and familiarity with tablets
- Must possess a valid UK driving licence due to rural site location
