Site Engineering Project Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineering Project Manager to supervise and oversee civil construction activities at residential projects. This role involves ensuring work is executed according to approved plans, monitoring quality, coordinating with various stakeholders, and managing site operations to ensure timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise the daily civil construction tasks on site.
• Ensure execution aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and project demands.
• Liaise effectively with architects, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Verify measurements, quantities, and material needs accurately.
• Ensure workmanship quality meets established standards consistently.
• Maintain and prepare daily reports on site progress and activities.
• Manage manpower and subcontractor coordination on-site.
• Identify and resolve site-related challenges promptly.
• Track project progress to guarantee adherence to the scheduled timeline.
• Inspect materials delivered and ensure their proper utilization.
• Review architectural and structural drawings, clearly conveying requirements to the site team.
• Create snag lists and ensure completion of pending issues.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, interiors, and other service teams.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Diploma, Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.), or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
• Approximately 26 years of experience in residential construction projects.
• Strong understanding of building construction principles and site execution methods.
• Ability to interpret and understand architectural and structural drawings.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to manage different teams effectively.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site personnel.
• Willingness to work onsite at construction locations in and around Chennai.
• Experience specifically in villa or premium residential projects is preferred.
