Role Description

Join our Project Execution team as a Site Engineer focusing on Steel Structures based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager with mechanical installation, commissioning, and upkeep of equipment across different projects within the region.
• Provide guidance and training to subcontractors on optimal installation procedures.
• Liaise with construction and procurement teams to determine necessary tools and consumables for site operations.
• Oversee and support steel structure installations for various projects.
• Develop work packages for onsite installation crews.
• Contribute to the proposals team by offering insights for upcoming projects and sharing lessons learned from prior experiences.
• Track site progress and provide comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate with the quality team to perform inspections, resolve outstanding issues, and ensure smooth client handover.
• Identify potential risks of failures and coordinate with Engineering and Drafting teams to implement preventive measures to uphold engineering deliverable quality.
• Ensure all mechanical tasks on site align with approved drawings and standard methods.
• Adhere to occupational health, safety, security, environmental, and quality standards throughout all operations.

Candidate Qualifications

• Possess a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience specifically in steel structure practices within the industrial automation sector, especially in Baggage Handling or Material Handling Systems.
• Be open to working on projects throughout Saudi Arabia.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in engineering analysis tools, mechanical design, and installation methodologies.
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with both internal and external stakeholders and collaborate with diverse multicultural teams.
• Be proficient in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
