Role overview
Fast Signs is looking for an experienced sign installer to support local work in Denham Springs, Louisiana. This is a full-time, on-site position with pay ranging from $17 to $25 per hour, depending on experience. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime.
What you'll do
- Carry out daily sign installations carefully and accurately, either independently or with a team.
- Review each work order in full before leaving for the day so the installation is understood in advance.
- Check that every work order includes the needed details, such as the job site, installation location, and customer contact information.
- Confirm that all signs, materials, tools, and other required items are loaded into the truck before departure.
- Report any issues on-site or any part of the job that cannot be completed to the Production Manager right away.
- Support sign production and fabrication tasks as needed, including vehicle wraps, print production, laminating, cutting, weeding, and wall wraps.
- Represent the company professionally by being courteous to customers and coworkers at all times.
- Keep company vehicles clean and organized.
- Take responsibility for company tools used at job sites.
- Follow attendance expectations by arriving on time and ready to work.
- Observe company rules and procedures, both written and implied.
Experience and skill requirements
- Prior sign installation experience is preferred and may influence starting pay.
- Experience with vinyl or wallpaper installation is an advantage.
- Comfort using power tools and hardware is required.
- Basic woodworking ability is needed.
- Applicants must be comfortable working at heights.
- Strong attention to detail is important.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Candidates must be willing to complete a drug screen and an MVR check.
Preferred qualifications
- Knowledge of installing 3D letters is a plus.
- Familiarity with electrical signs is helpful.
- Experience operating scissor lifts and boom lifts is desirable.
