Shift Incharge - Chemical Plant (Metal Solvent Extraction)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Shift Incharge to oversee operations at our metal solvent extraction facility located in Kasna, Greater Noida. Candidates with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in chemical engineering, especially with diploma or BE qualifications in Chemical Engineering, are encouraged to apply. The role involves managing a rotational shift schedule across three shifts to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shift-wise operations to maintain optimal performance of the metal solvent extraction process, ensuring compliance with production targets and operational standards.
• Lead and supervise shift personnel, fostering safety, productivity, and adherence to all operational protocols.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance solvent extraction efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, minimizing operational risks.
• Promptly troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during shifts to maintain continuous process flow.
• Accurately document shift activities, production metrics, and any incidents for management assessment.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and ensure preventative upkeep of plant machinery and equipment, preventing unexpected breakdowns.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement to boost process efficiency, cut costs, and increase plant productivity.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or B.Tech/B.E. in Chemical Engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in chemical plant operations, preferably in hydrometallurgy or solvent extraction processes.
