Role Overview

This part-time, onsite position as Shift Brewer at Gallagher's Brew House in Tallaght involves hands-on brewing responsibilities. The individual will perform routine brewing operations such as ingredient preparation, process monitoring, and equipment upkeep to maintain consistent product quality and safety. Duties include measuring and documenting batch data, ensuring cleanliness by sanitizing production areas, and collaborating closely with kitchen and bar teams to maintain product availability.

The role may involve engaging in tasting sessions, educating staff about brewing methods, and assisting in inventory management of raw and finished goods. Work shifts require flexibility, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational demands. The position is intended to transition into a full-time role culminating in promotion to Head Brewer by January 2027.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Basic understanding of brewing techniques, ingredient use, and quality assurance procedures.
• Exceptional attention to detail with adherence to recipes and accurate record maintenance.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities, working collaboratively with various departments.
• Physical readiness to manage brewing duties involving moderate lifting, prolonged standing, and dynamic on-site conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and dependability while juggling multiple tasks during peak periods.
• Previous experience in brewing, food production, or hospitality is advantageous but not mandatory for enthusiastic learners.
• Passion for Irish food and beverage culture with dedication to enhancing guest satisfaction.
