As a Service Porter, you will be an integral part of maintaining vehicle presentation and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include transporting customers and dealership staff, cleaning vehicles inside and out, and supporting various service department duties in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport customers and dealership personnel as needed.
• Maintain the dealership grounds and support daily organizational tasks.
• Assist in service department operations including vehicle write-ups, tagging, and shop cleanup.
• Organize and park vehicles for sale and service efficiently.
• Remove protective coverings and identification tags before returning vehicles to customers.
• Inspect vehicles carefully for stains, debris, and damages; report any issues promptly.
• Perform exterior cleaning tasks suitable to seasonal requirements, including snow removal.
• Place signage on vehicles for advertising purposes.
• Monitor vehicle progress through the reconditioning process and maintain lot tidiness by clearing garbage and debris.
• Ensure showroom cars remain spotless and smudge-free.
• Deliver dealer trades to neighboring stores and transport customers home when necessary.

Essential Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Genuine interest in the automotive industry with good knowledge of vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning agents and equipment such as power washers is advantageous.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing priorities efficiently.
• Strong customer service aptitude.
