About the Role
This position involves a pivotal role in guaranteeing delivery of exceptional, safe, and compassionate healthcare. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence and enhance service quality across surgical specialties. Collaboration with Associate General Manager, Clinical Leads, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and senior Trust colleagues is essential to meet national and local standards, optimize patient pathways, and support service transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective, timely operational management across all surgical specialties at Whipps Cross Site, supporting Clinical Director, Lead Clinicians, and General Manager to ensure services are responsive, innovative, and of the highest clinical and performance standards.
- Advocate and implement projects aimed at improving service delivery and patient experience in critical areas.
- Ensure all performance and quality targets are achieved.
- Address and resolve operational challenges in partnership with clinical teams by developing sustainable solutions.
- Participate as a core member of the Division’s Tier 3 Management Team, assuming full responsibility for assigned tasks and maintaining clear communication with team members.
- Lead and manage a team within the Division effectively.
