About the Role
Apmi Machinery is hiring a Service Engineer to handle maintenance and after-sales support across the South India region from Chennai. The position focuses on ensuring reliable customer service, maintaining product performance, and supporting users with correct operation and upkeep of company products.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize repair and maintenance schedules so customers receive timely and effective after-sales support.
- Visit customer sites regularly to carry out inspections and maintenance as per planned repair cycles.
- Study product issues, identify fault patterns, and maintain a record/database of malfunctions.
- Prepare, organize, and manage repair reports and related service documentation.
- Carry out necessary tests and inspections on company products.
- Monitor unusual or abnormal product conditions and take appropriate action.
- Explain correct product usage and maintenance practices to customers.
- Handle any additional work assigned by the supervisor.
Candidate Profile
The preferred candidate should have experience in plastic injection molding.
Eligibility
This role is open to candidates with a B.Tech or B.E. in any specialization.
