About the Role
TalentPop is seeking a meticulous and analytical SEO Assistant to support its remote team. The company helps eCommerce businesses grow through strong customer support and practical marketing expertise, and this role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity with data.
You will collaborate with SEO and Marketing teams to improve search visibility and contribute to the online growth of client brands. The position suits a proactive professional who wants to develop in a fast-moving, people-focused environment where learning and career progress are encouraged.
What You Will Be Doing
- Perform SEO reviews, keyword discovery, and on-page content improvements.
- Assist with backlink outreach and track website performance through Google Analytics.
- Work with product catalogues, site organisation, and Shopify CMS updates.
- Use platforms such as Klaviyo to review customer engagement and behaviour patterns.
- Prepare reports and keep current with changes in SEO methods and best practices.
Technical Requirements
- A stable internet connection with at least 25 Mbps upload and 25 Mbps download speed.
- A personal computer or laptop with an i5 processor or better.
What We Are Looking For
- At least 1 year of SEO experience, preferably within an eCommerce environment.
- Solid working knowledge of Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Excel.
- Prior exposure to Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google Merchant Center is preferred.
- Strong written communication skills; familiarity with design tools like Canva is an advantage.
- A self-driven mindset and comfort working in a remote, fast-paced setting.
