Role Overview

Join PwC New Zealand as a Senior Workforce Solutions Advisor, contributing significantly to shaping the future of the Consulting practice by ensuring optimal resourcing. Operating under the guidance of the national Workforce Solutions manager, you will coordinate daily resource allocation for current and upcoming projects, integrating local talent with broader workforce strategies including offshore, contractors, and secondments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Advisory Partners, Engagement Managers, and Workforce Solutions team members to understand and fulfill resource requirements effectively.
  • Utilize and promote existing resourcing systems, delivering training on new skills-based resourcing tools and generating insightful reports highlighting utilization trends and operational opportunities.
  • Assist in creating and implementing streamlined processes for contingent workforce management, encompassing contractors and offshore staff.
  • Plan, allocate, and adjust resources dynamically according to business needs, while maintaining deep awareness of the Advisory practice’s capabilities, client landscape, and priority sectors.
  • Ensure accuracy of skills data to match the right talent with appropriate engagements, maintaining confidentiality throughout.

Candidate Profile and Skills

  • Possess 2-4 years’ experience in detailed resourcing or talent acquisition roles, ideally within large organizations or professional services.
  • Skilled in producing detailed reports and handling complex HR or resourcing systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage and build rapport across diverse teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with leveraging AI applications and automation tools to improve resourcing efficiency.
