Role Overview
As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Muon Space, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the team by sourcing and hiring talented individuals for technical roles, particularly in aerospace. You will manage end-to-end recruiting processes, collaborating closely with hiring managers and leadership to fulfill staffing needs while representing Muon Space's vision and values to candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full life-cycle recruitment for technical and aerospace positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, and closing candidates.
- Work in partnership with hiring managers and leadership to clarify role requirements, devise hiring strategies, and develop a robust talent pipeline.
- Proactively source high-quality candidates through innovative approaches such as cold outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Conduct candidate assessments and interviews, coordinating with interview panels to ensure alignment on technical and cultural suitability.
- Provide guidance and expert advice to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process to facilitate effective hiring decisions.
- Oversee and organize the interview process to create a positive experience that reflects the company's mission and culture.
- Utilize recruiting metrics and market data to refine hiring strategies and enhance overall recruiting effectiveness.
- Handle offer management including compensation negotiations and candidate closure.
- Collaborate with People Operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new team members.
- Leverage reporting tools such as Greenhouse to monitor recruiting performance, analyze pipeline trends, and uphold accountability aligned with team goals.
- Continuously enhance recruiting procedures, tools, and workflows to support rapid scaling in a fast-growing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with more than seven years of experience in technical recruitment.
- At least two years of internal recruiting experience within an organization.
- Proficiency with ATS platforms like Greenhouse and sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting with evolving challenges.
- Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral, including presentation capabilities.
- Comfortable engaging directly with hiring managers and executive leaders.
- Capability to establish solid relationships with candidates and hiring teams.
- Effective multitasking abilities with autonomy and strong teamwork spirit.
- A strong sense of ownership, urgency, and accountability in work.
- A driven mindset to achieve success and make a meaningful impact.
Preferred Experience
- Background in recruiting within the aerospace industry.
- Experience growing startups in highly competitive markets.
- Previous work in staffing agencies.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers an annual salary ranging from 116000 to 164000 USD, supplemented by an equity grant and a full suite of benefits. Final pay is contingent upon skills, experience, and geography. Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, 401k plan, disability and life insurance, three weeks paid vacation, twelve paid holidays, unlimited sick leave, and parental leave.
